The Mass of Christian Burial celebrating and honoring the life of Juan Resendiz Martinez, 66, of Enid, will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday May 20, 2023, in the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Rosary Services will be held 6:00 P.M. Friday May 19, 2023, in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Juan was born July 12, 1956 to Pedro Resendiz Cruz and Natalia Martinez Felipe in Tasquillo, Hidalgo, Mexico passed from this life May 12, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He was raised and educated in El Epazote, Mexico. He married Antonia Resendiz Carranza and from this union came one daughter. The family moved to Oklahoma in 1983 where he worked on a farm with Steve Lambert most of his life until his Wife’s passing in 2011.
He enjoyed watching soccer matches, his favorite team was Pachuca. He absolutely loved spending time with his grandchildren, every day.
He is survived by his child Anabel Resendiz Gomez; grandchildren, Odalismar Gomez, Yareth Gomez, Adryel Gomez; siblings; Pablo Resendiz, Elena Resendiz, Virginia Resendiz, Sixta Resendiz, Celerina Resendiz.
