Florentino Barrientos Martinez, 58, of Kingston, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at the Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He was born on October 16, 1964, in Dolores Hidalgo, Mexico to Pablo Martinez and Maria Martinez. Florentino was raised and lived most of his life in Mexico. In 1980 he moved to Texas and later in 1984 he moved to Madill. Florentino married Doreen Taylor on February 20, 1987, in Gainesville, Texas. He enjoyed playing and watching soccer, loved his roosters and spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
Florentino is survived by wife: Doreen Martinez, Kingston, Oklahoma; Father: Pablo Martinez, Madill, Oklahoma; Children: Erik Taylor, Kingston, Oklahoma; Vanesha Sage and husband Arturo Moreno, Madill, Oklahoma; Maria Martinez, Kingston, Oklahoma; Lupe Martinez and husband John Price, Durant, Oklahoma. 10 Grandchildren; Phoenix, Terrence, Jasmine, Anaya, Gabriella, Ava, Arturo Jr., Elena, Lucas, and Kaylee. Siblings: Juan Martinez, Paula Villegas, Maria Martinez, Ruben Martinez, Lupe Arreola, and Juan Pablo Martinez, all of Madill, OK. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Florentino was preceded in death by his mother, 1 brother; Gonzalo Martinez and 1 sister; Josefina Torres
