William Lawrence Martin was born June 18, 1948 in Durant, Oklahoma to Lawrence Willard and Elizabeth Ola Martin. He passed away December 30, 2018 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 70. He was a Navy Veteran and of the Baptist Faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, John Larry Martin and Joe Allen Martin and his sister, Florence Ellen Martin.
He is survived by his wife, Martha D. Martin of the home; his sons, William (Billy) Douglas Martin of Clarksville, AR; Robert and his wife, Sherry Hatchett of Lamar, AR; his daughters, LaDonna and her husband, Reverend Alan Ray Chenault of Clarksville; Denise and husband, Bob DeWinter of Lamar; DeAnna Hatchett-Carlton and her husband, Jason of Clarksville; Emily and her husband, Daniel Vaughn of Clarksville; his brothers, Michael Bryan Martin of OK; Edward Louise Martin of OK; Roy Don Martin of OK; his sister, Ila Melissa Martin of OK; twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Funeral Services are 11 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas with Reverend Alan Ray Chenault officiating. Pallbearers are Bill Monty, Charles Lundsford, Bob Dillard, and the United States Navy.
