Teresa Sue Martin, 59, of Overbrook was born on March 6, 1962 in White Sands, New Mexico, the daughter of Raymond Eugene Wick, Sr. and Norma Jean Tuley Schultz. She passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at her residence surrounded by loved ones.
Teresa grew up in south Texas and due to a domestic situation, she relocated to a family shelter in Ardmore. It was there where she learned she had a passion for helping others. Teresa spent countless hours helping in any way she could at the family shelter. She had a desire to help anyone that needed help. Teresa went to work for a flower shop and it was this path that led her to meet the love of her life, Anthony "Tony" Page Martin. They wed on October 28, 2006 in Overbrook. Teresa enjoyed crocheting, the outdoors, car shows with the Volkswagen, and traveling. Her favorite activity she crossed off her bucket list was to swim with the dolphins. Her final wish was to swim with the dolphins one last time. Although Teresa had many interests she enjoyed, nothing was more precious than the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Jean Tuley Shultz and twin grandsons, Mason Andrew Benner and Isiah Caleb Benner.
Survivors include her husband, Tony Martin; father, Raymond Wick, Sr.; daughters, Amanda Benner and husband Jacob and Cherokee Roberts and husband Dylan; sister, Janet Wilson and husband, Mike; brothers, Raymond Eugene Wick, Jr. and wife Tolosi and Stephen Anthony Wick and wife Kim; half-brother, Nathan Wick and wife Nicole; half-sister, Isabel Torres and husband Diego; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary Kay and Chuck Martin; and grandchildren, Payton Benner, Parker Benner, Paxton Benner, Koda Roberts, Karter Roberts, and Myles Roberts.
