John Mark Martens was born October 1, 1951 in Enid, Oklahoma to Henry and Elda Martens. He left his earthly body on January 26, 2025 at his home in Fairview, Oklahoma and passed on to his heavenly reward.
John was an Oklahoma Bible Academy Graduate of 1969. He married the love of his life Linda Kay Jantzen in October of 1972.
John is preceded in death by his parents Henry & Elda; one sibling, Matthew; and his loving wife Linda. Those left to keep his memories alive are his children: Katherine & Philip Flecher of Fairview, Oklahoma, Hank & Kimberly Martens of Keller, Texas and Levi & Carolyn Martens of Fairview, Oklahoma; Brother Paul Martens and wife Lori of Fairview; sister Joyce Martens of Fairview; Grandchildren Mary Neal, Lucinda Neal, Adeleine Martens, Max Martens, Evangeline Flecher, Earl Martens, Ryan Martens & Luke Martens.
A memorial luncheon will be held at Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church, Friday, February 28, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. Memorial donations are suggested to the MCC Meat Canner or the Major County Historical Society with Pierce Funeral Home serving as custodian at P.O.
