Imogene Marston, 70 year old Woodward resident, died Monday, January 13, 2020 in Woodward. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Allen Mabra officiating.
Imogene (Charmasson) Marston was born on June 6, 1949 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Melvin Marcell and Mamie Dee (Buford) Charmasson. Imogene grew up in the Woodward and Alva area, and graduated from Alva High School. She was united in marriage to Bruce Edward Marston on October 16, 1985 in Woodward. They made their first home in Woodward.
Imogene loved her family more than anything. She also enjoyed fishing and playing with her dog Maggie. Imogene worked as a beautician, then as a clerk at Ace hardware.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Marston; sons, Kendal Stephens and wife Kristal of Woodward, Kevin Stephens and girlfriend Brandy of Oklahoma City; daughter, Krista Brown and husband Terry of Wichita, Kansas; brother, Eugene Charmasson; sister, Louise Jones; grandchildren, Dillon, Taylor, Kaegan, Conner, Ellie, Karsen, and Mason; and a great grandson, Elliot; mother-in-law, Beverly Marston of Woodward; brothers-in-law, Greg Marston and wife Gina of Gage; Mike Marston and wife Sharon of Houston, Texas; Mark Marston and wife Sherry of Perry; several nieces; nephews other family and friends.
Imogene was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Mamie Charmasson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for lung cancer, with the funeral home accepting contributions.
