Peggy Sue Marshall
February 14, 1963 ~ September 15, 2017

Celebration of life services for Peggy Sue Marshall, 54, Enid, will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Golden Oaks Chapel with Pastor Harvey Regg officiating. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.

Peggy was born on February 14, 1963 in Perryton, Texas, the daughter of Kenneth Jean and Peggy Louise Hess Marshall, and passed away peacefully on   September 15, 2017 at a local nursing home. The youngest of five children, and the only girl, she fought a long battle with respiratory illnesses.

She was a loving mother, and adored as a grandmother, touching every life she came to love or care for.  Peggy attended school in Enid and Lahoma, finishing the 9th grade, then receiving her GED in 1995 while raising two children on her own, Mandy Jantz of Enid and Mikeal Jantz of Ellicott, Colorado.  Peggy worked in many fields of work before deciding to go into nursing and becoming a CNA, until her health caused early retirement from NORCE in 2003.

She has two grandsons, and three step-grandchildren, and many more that she adopted over the years.  Everyone called her Mom.  She will live on in our hearts and minds.

Peggy was preceded in passing by her parents, brother, Jimmy Dale, and many other close relatives.

She is survived by three brothers and their wives, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Marshall of Oklahoma City, Mr and Mrs. Bert Marshall of Enid, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Marshall of Enid; children, Mandy of Enid and Mikeal of Ellicott, Colorado; several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, and several other family members.

She spent her last eight years of live living at Golden Oaks Village where she made several friends and was well liked by many others.
