October 12, 1936 ~ September 30, 2020

Frank Marshall, 83 year old Woodward resident, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 in Woodward. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2021 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Frank Albert Marshall was born on October 12, 1936 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Vernon Albert and Ruth Mabel (Courtney) Marshall. Frank grew up in southwest Oklahoma and graduated from Ocina High School in Willow, Oklahoma. Frank enlisted in the United States Navy in January of 1957 and served on the USS Princeton, USS Hornet and the USS Bennington. He was honorably discharged in November of 1960. He was united in marriage to Wanda Faye Dickerson on June 14, 1963 in Elkhart, Kansas. They made their first home in Spearman, Texas and lived in several different towns including, Booker, Texas, Woodward, Oklahoma and Ashland, Kansas. He worked as a truck driver and later as a pumper in the oilfield. Frank spent time as a greyhound trainer and business owner in the later years of his life.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge. Frank enjoyed traveling, fishing, gardening, coyote hunting and visiting with friends. He loved spending time with his family, especially his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by son: Robert Marshall and wife Sandra-Marie of Saginaw, Texas; daughters, Barbara Marshall of Ochelata, Oklahoma, Christina Anthem and husband Alan of Woodward; brother R. R. (Bob) Marshall and wife Judy of Hammon, Oklahoma; sisters, Dorothy Woods of Hartville, Missouri, Sue Hollingsworth and husband Larry of Hammon, Oklahoma, Kay Swanson of Hammon, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren Frank, Cody, Chelsae, Courtney, Tiera, Trevor, Robert Dylan, Jasmine, Mason, and LoraLynne; 15 great-grandchildren, along with other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, sister Doris Marshall, brother Tommy Marshall and his beloved wife Wanda Marshall.
