December 12, 1943 ~ June 8, 2019

A Celebration of Life for Kenny E. Marney, age 75, of Enid, is 10:30 am, Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Garriott Road Church of Christ with Mr. Ray Rose officiating. The United States Army Honors Team will provide military honors. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Kenny was born December 12, 1943 in Ames, OK on a farm where he was raised to Kenneth and Erma (Hager) Marney, and passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019 in Enid.

Kenny grew up in Ames and graduated from Drummond High School. He then went to Northwestern State College and graduated with a B.A. in Science in 1968. Following graduation, he joined the Army and served in Vietnam in 1969. He then found his love in building homes which he formed into a lifelong successful career.

He was a loving Husband, Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa. He was a man of many trades and knowledge that loved to keep busy building things with his hands and working outside in his garden and attending to his bees. He was also a man with strong faith and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Erma (Hager) Marney and one brother, Danny Jo. He is survived by his wife Kathy of the home and his children: Cherie Young (Joe), Misty Jernigan (Rob), Troy Marney, Todd Marney (Lisa). Stuart Boyes and stepdaughter, April Hays; brother, Gary Marney (Lora), sister Nikki Marney and eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren as well as aunts and uncles and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

Memorials may be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital with Ladusau-Evans as custodian of the funds.
