Sendie Lee Margaryan passed away on September 20, 2021, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, at the age of 84. She was born to William “Bill” Elkins and Ellen Mathis in Sallisaw, Oklahoma on April 20, 1937.
After Sendie finished school, she went into the workforce as a truck driver and did that most of her life. When Sendie was not driving trucks, she enjoyed fishing and playing bingo, but she loved spending time with her 13 children more than anything else. She was known for always helping people out, never turning anyone away, and having a heart of gold. She was loved by so many.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill Elkins and Ellen Mathis, her siblings Shirley Bridges, J.D Elkins, and Bernice Elkins, and four of her children: Keith Shrum, Rana Hevel, Wesley Shrum, and Jackie Shrum.
Sendie is survived by two brothers, Richard Pete Elkins and Jerry Maiths, nine children: Leroy, Daniel, Donny, Ronney, Johnny, Diane, Ellen, Branda, and Tammy. She is also survived by 40 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Friday, September 24, 2021, at 10 am, at the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
