Lana Jo Manning, age 74, of Edgewater, Florida died Wednesday September 20, 2023 at Halifax Health Medical Center. Born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Samuel Robert and JoAnn Howard May. Prior to moving to Florida in 2021, she resided in Grove, Oklahoma for 32 years.
Lana graduated from Bartlesvile College High School in 1966. She was co-owner/operator of M & M Distributing in Miami, Oklahoma. Lana was passionate about caring for all animals and had a special love for Shih Tzu's and kittens. Lana had a gift for interior decorating and loved anything with a coastal theme. She loved listening and dancing to oldies but goodies music.
Survivors include her husband Rex of 45 years, sons Bob (Lourdes) Marshall of Beaverton, Oregon and Jeff Marshall of Joplin, Missouri, step daughters Barbara (Bob) Mooney of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Cindy (Scott) Buerman of Edgewater, Florida, and Teresa (Doug) Bailey, of Lawton Oklahoma, eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, sister Lesley (Jim) Whorton of Tulsa, Oklahoma, one niece and two nephews.
Memorial service and celebration of life will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2023 at Bartlesville First Church, 4715 Price Road, Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74006, with Reverend Dr. Greg Tener officiating.
