David Eugene Mann

 January 5, 1961 ~ May 30, 2026

David Eugene Mann, age 65, died May 30, 2026 at his home in Stillwater.

His memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday June 6, 2026 at Strode Funeral Home Chapel.

David was born in Topeka, KS on January 5, 1961 to Daniel and Margaret Mann.

He lived in Stillwater, OK for most of his life and attended Oklahoma State University for accounting. He was an avid reader of fantasy and science fiction. Renaissance Fairs were a passion that he used to exhibit his creativity. He was skilled in metal work in the creation of armor and chainmail, in textiles to create delicate Celtic embroidery and wood working.

David enjoyed the company of family throughout his life and playing card games while visiting. Though he lived alone, David could talk to anyone he met. An example is when we were in an elevator and he asked the man next to us carrying a food container, “What’s for lunch?”.

He is proceeded in death by his siblings Ronald and Donald and by his father, Daniel Gene Mann.

David leaves behind his son Joshua Lawrence Mann, his mother Margaret Mann; siblings Kevin, Becky Finney, Sarah Spurgeon and John; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

David will be sorely missed by those who loved him.
