John William Mangus, 54, of Norman left to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019. He was born on February 19, 1965 in Enid, Oklahoma to Archie and Mary Mangus of Norman, Oklahoma.
He grew up in Norman, Oklahoma, attended the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University. He ran a property management company.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Mangus of Enid, Oklahoma and Mr. and Mrs. Merle Lewellen of Enid, Oklahoma.
John William Mangus is survived by his mother and father, Archie and Mary Mangus, his brother, David and wife Pat of Tribbey, Oklahoma. His sister, Debbi Mangus Capparelli and her husband, Paul of Sacramento, Californa, and his little sister Stacey Mangus-Robinson and her husband, Vin of Carrollton, Texas.
He is also survived by his nephew, David Mangus, Jr., and his wife, Kacie, and great-niece Brooklyn of Decatur, Texas, his nephew, Jacob Mangus and his wife, Mikayla, of Noble, Oklahoma. His niece, Jennifer Mangus of Oklahoma City, and his niece, Mandy Wiesner and her husband Eric of Yukon, Oklahoma. He is survived by numerous close friends, including Kent Griffin of Norman, Oklahoma and Kevin Lowary of St. Charles, Missouri.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made in memory of John William Mangus to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital of St. Louis, Missouri or the University of Oklahoma Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
