George Orlo Maness son of Amon Christian and Sarah (Graves) Maness was born August 21, 1922 in Stroud, Oklahoma and departed this life on March 8, 2009 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 86 years, 6 months and 18 days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother; Dave Maness, 2 sisters; Cloe Patterson and Mary Chase.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife; Eva Maness of the home in Summers, AR, 1 daughter; Gloria Jean Mediros and husband James of Summers, AR, 1 son; George A. and wife Pamela of Summers, AR, 1 sister; Pearl Long of Mira Loma, CA, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Graveside services were held Thursday, March 12, 2009, in the Ganderville Cemetery, with Bro. Larry Eubanks officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
