Funeral services for Julia Maldonado were held at the Community Cemetery in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. Local arrangements were under direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel.
She was born August 1, 1909 in Puerto Rico to Agustin Medina and Emilia Medina and passed away September 29, 1997.
She was a social worker and loved to sew , bingo and horse races. She also loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Antonio Maldonado.
She is survived by her son, Agustin Fanfan, five granddaughters, Lydia, Sandra, Yvette, Celeste and Suzette; two grandsons, Carl and Anthony; 12 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
