He is preceded in death by both parents and one brother, Henry. He is survived by six brothers, Vernell Madkins, Chicago, Illinois; John Lee Madkins of Wewoka, Oklahoma; Junior Ray, Delroy, and Keith Madkins, all of Bakersfield and Lafayette Webster, Bakersfield. He is also survived by three sisters, Luthel Irving, Lemoore, CA; Sally Jean Madkins and Vickie Foreman, Bakersfield. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Lana, LaTesa, Shanel, Rochelle, Tomeka, Obie, and Taniesha and stepchildren, Aaron, Kenny, Royce, and Charman and 27 grandchildren.
Lonnie was a good-hearted, kind man who loved everything and everybody. He was always there to help anyone who asked whether family or firiend. He loved fishing and being outdoors. He also loved to sit with his friends, laugh and talk and play a game of dominoes. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him and he will always be in our hearts.
