The funeral for Mrs. Frank (Bess) Mackey, 76, a former resident of Enid, was conducted Thursday in the Hampton – Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel at Wichita Falls, Texas. The Rev. Joe Glenn officiated with burial there.
Mrs. Mackey and her husband Frank had lived in Enid for many years. She attended Phillips University, and was a member of the 10th and Broad Church of Christ in Wichita Falls.
Survivors include her husband, Frank; one daughter, Mary Anne McBride, Wichita Falls; one son, Don, Atlanta, Georgia; six sisters; one brother; three grandchildren; and two great – grandchildren. Relatives living in Enid are Mrs. John Mackey and Rubie and Mike Withers.
