Wilbur Joseph Machado, a Coalgate resident, was born on November 29, 1943, to Henry Joseph and Pauline (Steffan) Machado, at Antioch, CA. He passed away on November 6, 2022 at Coalgate, OK at the age of 78 years, 11 months and 8 days.
Wilbur attended Oakley Elementary School in Oakley, CA and graduated from Liberty Union High School in Brentwood, CA. He was a machine operator for Glass Containers where he made all types of glass jars. Wilbur married Joyce Buchanan on May 29, 1965 at Antioch, CA. They enjoyed 57 years together.
Wilbur was a member of the South Atoka Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing and doing remodeling jobs. Wilbur loved going camping with his family. He was a hard worker. Wilbur enjoyed watching westerns and CNN.
