The memorial service for Beverly K. Macfarline, 68, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2007, at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Sherry Shaw will officiate.
Beverly was born Feb. 27, 1939, in McWilley, Okla., to Loyd Joseph and Thelma Mae (Willey) McNabb and died at her home May 4, 2007.
She married James Penquite April 10, 1955, at her parents' home in McWilley.
She was a member of the Downtown Enid and Noon AMBUCS, loved to paint and travel. She worked at Farmers and Merchants National Bank of Fairview, Hughes Drilling in Enid, Garfield County Legal News and Beck Resources Inc. in Hennessey until the time of death.
She is survived by her children, Pamela Sue Penquite of Enid, Jey Loyd Penquite of Holliday, Texas, Jena Lee Morgan and husband Steve of Owasso; five grandchildren, Stevie Smith and husband Tony of Owasso, Tony and Brooke Penquite of Holliday, Ryan Morgan of Owasso and Monte Thorson of Enid; sister, Patricia Hutson and husband Troy of Canadian, Texas, and aunt, Dorothy Booze of Albuquerque, N.M.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Monte J. McNabb, and an infant son, Tony Joe Penquite.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be emailed to the family at ladusauevans@sudden linkmail.com.
