Daniel Francis Macdonald, beloved son of George and Margo Macdonald. Born in Washington, DC on December 2nd, 1958, and was raised in Arlington, VA. Dan passed away at home on the 20th of May 2019. He is survived by family members Paul, Tammy, Kate, Molly, Steve, numerous nephews and nieces, cousins and a very large group of friends who will miss him dearly.
Dan spent his entire career as a mechanic, most recently at Vance Air Force Base working on many types of large equipment. He worked his way up from apprentice-type garage work to holding numerous advanced technical certifications from small automobiles up to runway-sized snow plows and firetrucks.
Dan was absolutely a proud American and supporter of freedom. His co-workers claimed that "Dan was a Jack of All Trades, and Master of All Trades, too."
Dan enjoyed collecting many things and truly enjoyed sharing his collections with his friends and family.
A memorial will be held on Friday the 24th of May, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at The Union Hall, located at 1901 N. Washington Street, Enid, OK. The family suggests that donations in lieu of flowers be made to The American Cancer Society.
