Cari Joanna Lyons
February 5, 1984 ~ January 13, 2018

A celebration of life service for Cari Joanna Lyons, age 33, will be held Saturday, February 10, at Cedar Ridge Wesleyan Church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Ron Olson will officiate.

Lyons was born February 5, 1984, in Joplin, Missouri, and went to be with Jesus on January 13, 2018, at her home in Tyler, Texas, following multiple health problems. 

As a preacher's daughter, she attended several schools including Ringwood Elementary, Ebenezer Christian School in Ellsworth, Michigan; Lawson Middle School in Lawson, Missouri; Cornerstone Christian Academy in Ponca City; Lincoln Alternative School in Enid; and Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville. 

Lyons is survived by her parents, David and Rita Lyons of Tyler, Texas; and sister Janae and husband Michael Wojasinski and nephews Carson, Elias and Isaac, of Lufkin, Texas. Also, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by grandparents Kenneth and Anna Mary Wright, Goodwell; and Bill and Ova Lyons, Bear Lake, Michigan.

Lyons was a member of Cedar Ridge Wesleyan Church, and was attending Tyler First Church of the Nazarene since moving to Tyler, Texas. She will be remembered for her loving and compassionate spirit and wanting to help anyone she could.
