Lum, Dick Ping, 85, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2010 in Norman, Oklahoma. He was born September 9, 1925 in Canton, Provience, China to Sing Foon and Sin Qui Moy. He was united in marriage January 22, 1948 in Hong Kong, China to Shui Y. Tse.
Dick served his country in the United States Army retiring after 20 years of service as Sgt. 1st Class. He served during the Korean War and two tours during the Vietnam War. Dick enjoyed fishing, Sooner football, and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed vacation trips with his family going back to his home in Hong Kong.
Dick is survived by his wife, Shui Lum; three sons, King Chi Lum, King Hung Lum and King Piu Lum; one daughter, Kit Ling Luk; one sister, May Y. Moy; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 1:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M., Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Havenbrook Funeral Home.
Mass services will be held 11:00 A.M., Sunday, November 28, 2010 in the Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home.
