Jimmy (Jim) Lowry was the type of guy that never met a stranger. He was kind and loving to everyone he came in contact with, and would give anyone he came in contact with the shirt off his back. He was a very hard worker at everything he did. He spent his life in every aspect of the construction business, from building homes, farming, driving trucks to operating heavy machinery. He could build anything that you wanted him to build. He loved being outdoors especially if it was hunting or fishing. He loved going camping and taking his family out on the boat, as long as he got the opportunity to throw someone off the tube. He was a great husband to his wife Lisa for 21 years and loved her with everything he had. He loved his children like a daddy should. He was always there for his kids no matter what it was they needed, whether it was in the middle of the night or day and would drop everything to make sure his kiddos were taken care of. He was the best papaw in the world and loved everyone of his grandchildren and they loved him dearly. There will never be another papaw like him. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends but, the legacy that he set will go on forever.
