Crystal (Chance) Lowman

April 29, 1933 ~ July 26, 2013

CANADIAN — Crystal Lowman, 80, of Canadian died Friday, July 26, 2013, in Pampa.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Hughs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Dr. Dean English officiating. Burial will be in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Canadian. Arrangements are by Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian.

Crystal was born April 29, 1933, in Woodward, Okla., to Everett Chance and Alma Pressnall Chance. She attended schools in Woodward. She married Wally Lowman on Oct. 28, 1952, in Woodward. He preceded her in death on June 20, 2005. They moved to Canadian in 1968 from Shattuck, Okla. She was a homemaker, and her faith was Baptist.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth Lowman and wife Juli of Borger; two daughters, Janice Scroggins and husband Tommy of Canadian and Janet Holder and husband Robert of Elk City, Okla.; a brother, Joseph Chance and wife Rheta of Woodward; a sister, Joyce Beck of Vici, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
