Kristy Lynn "Kit" Loveless

Kristy Lynn "Kit" Loveless
April 22, 1965 ~ June 5, 2020

Kit Loveless, age 55 of Newcastle, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020. Kristy Lynn Loveless was born April 22, 1965 in Marion, IN, the middle daughter, and one of four children born to Pete and Lou Williams. She was raised primarily in Marion, eventually graduating high school in Gas City in 1983. Kit attended Junior College for a short time, then transferred to Ball State where she received her bachelor’s degree in Science and next, Purdue University for a bachelor’s degree in Art and lastly, earned her final bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma.

Kit was inquisitive, loved a good challenge and was always learning. Now a young lady, Kit answered the call to serve her country and joined the United States Air Force. This new and exciting challenge would lead her all over the world, learning new things from this very rewarding career. While in the Air Force, she was stationed in Japan and Travis Air Force Base. Later she went to the OKANG and was deployed to Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Tabuk, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Panama, Puerto Rico, and so many others.

Her last occupational adventure was working for the FAA at Will Rogers Airport. In all these positions she worked as an avionics/aircraft electrician and this vocation suited her well.

While in the Air Force, Kit met a young man from Newcastle, OK named Mike Loveless. These two were always friends, and shared many experiences including being deployed together to OIF and OEF. On December 6, 2015, Kit and Mike followed their hearts and got married. They purchased a Lake House on Lake Eufaula, where they enjoyed fishing and swimming.

Kit studied different culinary practices in her various stops around the world, and will be forever remembered for her “Nese” dishes. She had a green thumb, and could literally grow anything, and she loved tending to her garden. Her greatest joy was spending time with Mike, their family, friends, and fishing. She will be dearly missed!

She was preceded in death by:
An infant brother, Randy Williams
