Jerry James Louthan, "JJ," passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. JJ was born August 12, 1973, in Garden City, Kansas, to James Louthan and Barbara Chaloupek Louthan. He passed away after a long-fought battle with cancer on November 2, 2022, at the age of 49.
On January 1, 1994, JJ was united in marriage to Niki Strohmeyer. To their marriage came five children, Brannan, Jack, Payne, Judah and Myka.
JJ was all about family. He and Niki had family night each week where they would play games, watch movies and just enjoy being together. Every year the entire family would go on vacation together. JJ enjoyed watching his kids and grandkids in all their activities and he especially enjoyed coaching with the Yankees and Arrows teams. JJ was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing with friends. Everyone who knew him will always remember his smile and his laugh, it was one of a kind just like he was!
JJ was preceded in death by his parents and an infant child Judah.
He is survived by his wife Niki, three sons, Brannan and wife Samantha of Alva, Jack of Alva, Payne of Alva, one daughter, Myka of Alva, five grandchildren, Chloe, Troy, Kylee, Ronan, and Octavia all of Alva, two siblings, a brother, David Louthan of Stringtown, Oklahoma, and a sister, Katricia Hickerson and her husband David of Colorado. He was also loved by many other family members and friends.
There will be a celebration of life on January 14, 2023, in Alva at The Bull.
