Evelyn R. Losher, 78, of Bartlesville died Tuesday in Bartlesville.
Mrs. Losher has been transported to Potts Funeral Chapel in Independence, KS. Local arrangements were under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home – Walker Brown Chapel.
Evelyn Ruth Losher passed away on the 30th day of October 2018, at the Journey Home in Bartlesville, OK. Evelyn was born August 3, 1940, the first of four children born to Lawson T. Harrison and Dorothy J. (Hine) Harrison of Purcell OK. Evelyn had a happy childhood growing up in Purcell. In school she played in the band and also played basketball. Evelyn graduated in the Purcell High School class of 1952. She enjoyed attending class reunions to visit with her many friends.
On the 4th day of February 1973, Evelyn married Robert (Bob) Eugene Losher and they made their home in Independence, KS. After retiring, they moved to Bartlesville, OK in April of 2004. They belonged to Eastland Christian Church where they made many friends. Evelyn enjoyed working part time at Hallmark in Washington Park Mall for many years, and was a huge fan of the TV show Dancing with Star. After Bob passed away in 2016, Evelyn moved back to Purcell and was a resident at Westbrook Gardens Assisted Living Center.
Survivors include sons Kelley Losher of Lee's Summit, MO, Kirk Losher and wife Kelly of Bartlesville, OK, Sisters Anna Harrison and wife Elizabeth of Scapoose, OR, Carolyn Harrison of Purcell, OK, and Tom Harrison and wife Jackie of Purcell, OK. Also, special friends Rhonda Heskett and family and Pam and Robert Miller of Bartlesville, OK.
At Evelyn's request there will be no service. Interment will be at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Olathe, KS.
