Betty Louise Looman age 88 of Purcell, passed away on Dec. 20, 2016 in Norman.

She was born December 11, 1928 in Lexington, Oklahoma. She was the 2nd of four children born to George Manuel Harryman and Ruth Opal (Kees) Harryman. Betty’s early years in school were at the Stovall Country School S.E. of Lexington. During her high school years, she attended Lexington schools. Betty married the love of her life, George LeRoy Looman in 1945. She lived most of her married years in Purcell where she and George raised their five children. She worked hard as a homemaker, wife and mother. She also worked outside of the home for a number of years. While her children were growing up she was involved in their activities and was a proud supporter of the Purcell Dragons. While living in Purcell she attended the Purcell First Baptist Church and was a member of the Purcell Mothers Club. Throughout her life, she enjoyed cooking, flower arranging, decoupaging, playing cards, camping, rock collecting, fishing, time spent at Broken Bow and family beach vacations.

She was preceded in death by: Parents, George and Ruth Harryman, Husband, Goeoge Looman in 1981,0 Two sons, Paul and Jamie Looman, Two brothers, Gene and Gary Harryman; Grandson, Clayton Stuever

She is survived by: Three daughters, Lynn Looman Davis of Norman, Jana Koehler and husband Bill of Tulsa, Patti Stuever of Norman. One brother, Ron Harryman and Mickie of Lexington, One sister-in-law, JoAnn Harryman of Lexington. 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren Also several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Send online condolences @wilsonlittle.com
