Owen "Jack" Lollar, 80, of Amarillo died Sunday, July 4, 2004.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with Steve Parker, pastor of West Amarillo Christian Church, officiating.
Mr. Lollar married Waunita C. Morain on June 10, 1978, at Amarillo. He served in the Army and was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jacquelyn Charmaine Dezort of Woodward, Okla.; three stepdaughters, Rita Kay Conway of Del City, Okla., Donna Jean Cherry of Amarillo and Barbara Lynn Plummer of Pittsburg, Kan.; a stepson, Ronald Wayne Morain of Brazoria; five sisters, Edith June Woods of Canon City, Colo., Joye Maxine Hicks and Elva Marie Hicks, both of Guymon, Okla., Alice Beulah Hayden of Fowler, Kan., and Esther Jewell Parker of Beaver, Okla.; five brothers, Wayne Benton Lollar of Tecumseh, Okla., James Delbert Lollar and Byron Keith Lollar, both of Amarillo, Clayton Lawrence Lollar of Greensburg, Kan.. and Loren John Lollar of Douglas, Ariz.; two grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105 or to West Amarillo Christian Church, 3701 Soncy Road, Amarillo, TX 79119.
