David Lee Logsdon, 74, of Midwest City, passed away October 7th, 2013. David was born September 21, 1939 in Ponca City, OK to Robert Wade and Ada Lee (Adams) Logsdon.
David was a great example of what a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather should be. He taught his children early on to have a good work ethic and be dedicated to your job.
Some of his various jobs included being a supervisor for an Oil Field, working at Deluxe Checking in Oklahoma City, Maintenance for Oklahoma County. When he was younger he was a part of the Roller Hockey Team. He loved all sports and was a coach at different times for his kids. He was always at his kids and grandkids games and concerts. He was always proud of his kids and grandkids accomplishments. He enjoyed collecting eagles, belt buckles, and turquoise jewelry and beer steins.
He is survived by his wife: Sue of the home, daughters: Regina Hawkins and husband Curtis, Karen Prince; son: Marvin Huffman, Dwight Todd and wife Jan; daughter in law Kathy Huffman; 18 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Bobbie Rempe, RueLeeta Logsdon; brother: Harold "Buddy" Logsdon and wife Wondee.
Preceded in death by parents: Robert and Ada; son: Vaughn Huffman; grandson: Wayne Huffman; great grandson: Jacob Huffman; 2 sisters: Co Ann, Linda. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorial service will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Connect Church in Midwest City.
