She joined her husband at Conner Logsdon Real Estate and Insurance in the early 1950s and became a licensed insurance broker and Realtor. In the 1970s she returned to school at East Central State College where she earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in special education. After graduation she began teaching at McCall's Chapel. She later became principal of the school. After her retirement from McCall's she became involved with literacy efforts and was actively involved in the Pontotoc County Literacy Coalition for several years.
She was a lifelong Methodist and a member of First United Methodist Church upon moving to Ada in 1945.
She is survived by her children, David (Desma) Logsdon of Broken Arrow, Claudia Hunter (Sebastian Davis) of Oklahoma City and Kenneth Logsdon (Lynnette) of Columbia, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Gayle Logsdon of Ada; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 3 nephews and her close friend and caregiver, Diana Osborne.
