Celebration of life services for Lowell Ray Logan, fondly known as �Butch, will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with Sisty Monroe officiating. Butch passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014 in Hugo, OK, at the age of 69.
Lowell Ray "Butch" Logan was born July 31, 1945 in Hugo, Oklahoma, to Lowell Dale Logan and Mary Lavina "Sadie" Freeman. He had lived in this area all of his life and was a member of the Southside Baptist Church.
Butch married Johnnie Jean Morris on December 17, 1966 in Hugo, OK. He had worked as a carman and engineer for the railroad. Butch loved his grandchildren, carpentry, and cars.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lowell Dale Logan; brother, Milton Rickman; sister, Darlene Wright; brother-in-law, Paul Morris, and his special mother-in-law, Cleora Clifton.
Butch is survived by his wife, Johnnie of the home; one son: Steven Ray Logan of Florence, CO; two daughters: Alice Hevron and husband, David, of Paris, TX, and Christin Logan of Hugo, OK; his parents: Otis & Sadie Cloninger of Hugo, OK; one brother: Bryant Rickman of Hugo, OK; two sisters: Sherrie Carlile of Hugo, OK, and Sheila Dale of Hugo, OK; ten grandchildren: Megan Patterson, Morgan Logan, Brittanee Logan, Ashlyn Harlan, Candice Logan, Harli Hevron, Baileigh Hevron, Chandler Logan, Canaan Chubbee, and Zori Chubbee; 5 great-grandchildren: Josiah Miller, Hadli Hevron, Bryce Johnson, Le'Erin Jeffers, and A'Lisa Logan.
