Evelyn Joy Loeffelholz (Stover) of Lexington and former resident of Norman Oklahoma passed away Sunday Oct 20th, 2019 surrounded by family in her home.

She was born March 26 1942 in Norman to the late Alfred and Florence Stover. She was married to Gene Loeffelholz and is survived by her sister Margaret White of Arizona and her children Jerry Folks of Tecumseh , Marsha Folks of Norman, Candace Duke-Belsher of Canada, Tracy Duke of Purcell, Sid Duke of Wayne. Cherished by her grandchildren Derrick Folks , Billy Folks , Jordan Haulk, Nicholas Randolph , Joshua Parker, Austin Duke , Dalton Duke, Brooke Duke, Garrison Duke , Maison Duke, Noah Folks, Ava Belsher, Gavin Belsher , Reid Belsher as well as great grandchildren Bo Brixton Duke, Bryntley River Duke, Jonna Lou Haulk, Isabelle lee Haulk , Brenden Patrick Haulk, Juliana Parker , Matthias Parker and Blaizly Parker and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Evelyn was a dedicated mother first and foremost. As the matriarch of the family, she held many job titles such as the Comforter, Rule Enforcer, Referee, Chauffer, Life Coach, Peace Maker and more. One of the roles she relished was being the family Chef. She enjoyed cooking big meals consisting of family recipes passed down from the generations. She enjoyed the hustle and bustle of having family and friends over to share in great food and conversation. She believed in the motto " the family that eats together, stays together". Evelyn was affectionely known as " Honey " by family and many friends. This nickname fit her well because she was a sweet and kind lady who showed unconditional love and boundless generosity. Evelyn was also a faithful Christian woman and lived her life striving to uphold the values of her faith.

She will be greatly missed by many, but we know she is flying with the angels and having a wonderful reunion with others in heaven!
