Allen Lee Lockhart, son of Andrew Jackson and Flore May (Poff) Lockhart, was born on January 24, 1947 in Huntsville, Arkansas and passed unexpectedly from this life on December 26, 2021, at his home in Duncan Oklahoma at the age of 74 years, 11 months, 2 days.
He attended Westville School and was a member of the Class of 1965. He enjoyed playing sports in his younger years. He also loved to travel and enjoyed the outdoors and seeing different sights. He loved watching football and other sports. Allen was a true Razorback and Dallas Cowboy fan.
He thought the world of his kids, Mickey and Michelle and his 3 grandchildren Colton Lockhart, Jamie and Heather Brooks.
On May 4, 2005 he married Clara Sue Richardson. He gained 3 more children, Angela, Michail and Kim and 9 more grandkids.
Allen and Clara kept the road hot traveling the roads in Oklahoma and Texas. They enjoyed visiting the Casino's in Oklahoma. His latest find was Buc-ee's Convenience store in Texas and made several trips to Buc-ee's to pick up treats.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Flora Lockhart and Raymond and Fern Cline, siblings; Lonnie Cline, Russell Cline, Jack Neal Lockhart, Jr., Mona Hazel Littrell, Nancy Kay Irvin, Ann Baughman and Lois Fuller.
He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife Clara Lockhart of the home in Duncan, OK. Sister Sue Tarwater of Odessa MO, Children Mickey Lockhart of Westville, OK, Michelle Brooks and husband John of Stilwell, OK, Angela Groves of Ft. Worth, TX, Michail Cowan and wife Patricia of Duncan, OK and Kim Hanks and husband Shannon of Walters, OK. Grandchildren Colton Lockhart, Jamie and Heather Brooks, Bryce Groves, Lindsey Ledbetter, Erica Groves, Kristin and Brittany Cowan, Tanner and Colton Roberson and Breigh and Trystan Hanks and a host of great children, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Service was held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 4, 2022 under the directions of Roberts and Hart Funeral Home.
