Memorial service for Robert "Bob" Aaron Locke will be held 2:00 P.M. March 25, 2023 in the Waukomis Christian Church, Pastor David D. Jones will officiate.
Bob was born August 05, 1942 in Gentry, Arkansas to Delbert Aaron & Wanita Ruth (Gribble) Locke, and passed from this life on March 16, 2023 at Integris Bass Baptist Hospital OKC.
He and his family lived in Enid & Carrier, he then joined the Navy at the age of 17, after coercing his parents to sign him over. Then quickly realizing, it was not 'cracked up to be what he thought it would be'. He served on the U.S.S. Coral Sea, became a Certified Barber & was a Fireman Apprentice.
Bob was an accomplished Leatherman, Heavy Equipment Operator, loved rodeos, bulls, always enjoyed a good laugh, and an occasional prankster.
He is survived by his children: Dean Locke of Enid, Robin Case (Billy) of Guthrie, Ramona Voelzke (Michael) of Waukomis; 13 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Locke, two children, Marsha Stiles & Tom Locke.
Memorials may be made to AKDAR Shrine Temple for Children. Waukomis Christian Church serving as Custodian.
Waukomis Christian Church will be open Wednesday 3/22/2021 and Thursday 3/23/2023 from 12:30-4:30 if anyone would like to sign the book or for delivery of flowers/plants. The church will be open at 12:30 on March 25 as well to receive arrangements.
