Carol Ann Little passed from this life on December 30, 2019 at her home in Newcastle, after a long illness, at the age of 62 years 8 months 16 days. Memorial Services are scheduled for 1:00PM, Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the 9th and Pierce Church of Christ.
Carol was born April 15, 1957 to Rosa Lea (Weaver) and Charles P. Mansur, Jr. Enid, Oklahoma. She spent most of her childhood in Purcell, going on to graduate from Norman High in 1975. On January 27, 1976 she married the love of her life, Cory Little, in Washington, Oklahoma. They traveled around some for the first couple of years, and then settled in Purcell for a time. They then settled on a piece of land near Newcastle where they raised their children. Carol loved their little homestead, and enjoyed relaxing outside under the trees with her 3 cats. She wore many hats in her adult life, from nurse’s aide to cake decorator, and even deli manager. Before she retired, Carol spent her last working years at the west side Wal-Mart in Norman. She enjoyed reading horror stories, crime dramas and mysteries. Carol enjoyed outdoor activities, gardening. She loved her spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a proud Nana and Great Nana.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rosa Lea Mansur, George and Jacquelyn Roberts; her brother, Gary Lynn Roberts; and her beloved mother-in-law, Carleta Little. Survivors include her husband, Cory Little of the home; sons, Kevin West and wife, Keely of Duncan, Jason Little of Norman; daughter, Traci Abuzaid and husband, Kaies of Los Angeles, CA; siblings, Trudi Hosek and husband, Larry of Wayne, Mikeal Roberts of Russia; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; and many other relatives and friends
