Muriel “Louise” Linholm was born in Perry, OK on January 17, 1937 and died in Tulsa, OK on October 26, 2020 while surrounded by family. She was 83 years old.

Louise was the daughter of Nicholas Martin and Muriel Edith (Schock) Malget. She grew up in Perry and graduated from PHS in 1954. After high school she moved to Oklahoma City to attend Draughon Business School and attended night school at OCU. She worked at a local Federal Savings and Loan and later at Pitney Bowes as an accounting clerk.

Louise married Albert “Russell” Linholm in Perry on June 6, 1959. Their first child, Nick, was born in Oklahoma City. The family moved to Sherman, TX in 1964 where son, Mark, was born. Louise worked the night shift at Texas Instruments building circuitry boards. They moved back to Oklahoma City in 1968 at which time Louise began working at the Mother’s Day Out at Village Christian Church. During this time, Louise served as a Cub Scout den mother for her youngest son, Mark. Louise was a proud and active long-term member at Village and served the church in many ways, including the Christian Women’s Fellowship and as church secretary. She later worked in accounts payable at Oklahoma City Metro Tech and retired from there in 2003. In 2016 Louise and Russell moved to Tulsa, OK but Oklahoma City was also home

Louise loved bird watching and was an avid bridge player. She played competitive bridge and won several tournaments. She and Russell loved to travel.
