Barbara Anna Lindsey

January 24, 1951 ~ April 05, 2018

Barbara Anna Lindsey was born January 24, 1951 in Lamont, California to James Mathes and Johnnie Inez (Ford) Lindsey. She passed away April 5, 2018 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years, 2 months and 12 days.

Barbara grew up and lived in the Hickman and Modesto, California area. She was married in 2000 to Richard Beck and they remained in California to make their home. She had recently moved to Oklahoma in February of this year and was residing with her great niece who was providing care for her. Barbara loved her children and grandchildren and was loved in return by many. She enjoyed any type of dancing, decorating and making floral arrangements.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 sisters and 1 brother.

She is survived by her daughter, Jo Anna Rogers and husband, William Rice, of Muldrow, OK; a son, Charles Grigsby of Bakersfield, CA; 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; a sister, Eva Abbott of Oakdale, CA; a special great niece, Yolanda Hull of Elk City, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.

Private services will be held at a later date.
