Theodore Ruddell Limke, 77, of Blanchard, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015, at his home. The son of John Christopher Limke and Mary Ellen (Bledsoe) Limke, he was born February 3, 1938, in Trousdale, Oklahoma.

Ted married Barbara Anne Spraker on October 25, 1968 in Norman, Oklahoma and not a day went by that he didn�t tell her he loved her. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, telling stories and making people laugh. He enjoyed baseball, watching sports, singing, and fishing. He loved people and will be missed by so many.

Ted was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Purcell where he was a 4th degree member of Knights of Columbus and most recently attended church at St. Joseph�s Catholic Church in Norman.

Ted enjoyed a long career in law enforcement beginning in 1959 at the Norman Police Department. He went on to the OSBI for 21 years where he retired as Director in 1989. Then he went to Leviticus, a federal agency, and on to Chief of Police at University Hospitals, followed by DOC Contract Monitor for private prisons, as well as ACA Auditor until he retired in September 2015.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Bruce Wayne O�Malley.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Limke, of Blanchard; one son, James O�Malley, of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Tiffany Courange and her husband, Jeremy, of Norman and Justin O�Malley of Blanchard; five great grandchildren, Colton, Wade, Anna, Grace, and Julia; many other relatives; and an extensive network of law enforcement family and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. There are no immediate plans for a memorial service. The family encourages friends and extended family to celebrate the life of Ted in their own way. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.comm.
