Ruth Louise Ligon

March 23, 1931 ~ September 18, 2012

Ruth L. Ligon, 81, of Midwest City, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012.

She was a loving mother, helped with Girl Scouts and worked for H&R Block for many years.

Mrs. Ligon is survived by a son, David and wife Sandra; grandson, Matt and his wife Sara, OKC; a daughter, Louise Norton and husband Wes, St. Louis, MO; grandsons, Peter, Dallas, TX and Phillip, Miami, FL; a daughter, Diane Caro and husband Art; grandson, Chris and wife Holly; granddaughter, Julie and husband Jake, Broomfield, CO; brother, Donald Brown, OKC; sister, Joan Farmer, Stroud, OK; sister, Nan Wilkerson, Lake Charles, LA; and brother, Wayne Brown, Norman, OK.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
