Rodger Lee Lewis of Collinsville, OK, followed the angels to his heavenly home April 4, 2025. He was born May 8, 1959 in Dumas, TX, to Arthur Lee and Eileen McCall Lewis. He grew up in Dumas, TX, and graduated high school in May 1977. The following September he went to work for Phillips 66 Pipeline Co. at the Cactus Ammonia Plant eventually working his way up to executive management before retiring in March 2017. His character and integrity advanced his career, and he made many life-long friends. Rodger was gifted with his hands, could resolve difficult problems, and was able to ‘fix’ just about anything. When there was a need, he offered help to family, friends, or neighbors and was known as a loyal and generous friend.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, being in the mountains, working with his hands, traveling, cooking out; but he loved any time spent with his kids, grandkids, and friends. Retirement gave he and Belinda opportunity to travel in their RV, and they traveled to many beautiful places often taking grandkids with them. Anyone who spent any time with him knew Rodger loved and always spoiled his dogs — presently Nahla and Abby.
Rodger loved the Lord and his family more than life itself. Difficult circumstances through the past year of his life brought him to his knees and refined his walk with God. To his beloved wife, dear family and friends, his loss leaves a hole that only God’s grace can fill.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Belinda; daughter Whitney Dodson and husband Sam of Tulsa, OK, son Scott Lewis and wife Katie of Stillwater, OK, and son Chris Lewis and wife Ash of Stillwater, OK. He is blessed to be grandad to seven beautiful grandchildren; and he is loved by a host of people across the country who call him friend.
A close friend and family memorial will be planned in the future to celebrate his life.
