A Celebration of Life service for Robert "Bob" Eugene Leonard age 69 of LaFeria, TX formerly of Waynoka, OK, will be at 11:00 A.M, Saturday, September 16th, 2017 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Vernon Lee will officiate. The United States Army Honor Guard will provide military honors. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Bob was born September 7, 1948 in Alva, OK, to Bee Afton and Grace Strate Leonard and passed away August 27, 2017 at his home. He grew up in Canyon, TX, where he graduated from high school in 1967. Bob entered the U.S. Army on February 29, 1968 and retired after 21 years of service. He served in the Vietnam War and later in Germany and Korea during his Army career.

After retirement from the military, Bob moved to Blue Springs, MO, where he was a school bus driver in Oak Grove and Blue Springs, MO for 6 years. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Canyon, TX, and was baptized in Christian Life Church in Des Moines, Iowa on March 30, 1997. Bob later moved from Blue Springs, MO to LaFeria, TX. 

He is survived by his sisters; Paula Blankenship and husband James of Grain Valley, MO; Gwen Simms and husband Mark of Edmond, OK; and several other family members including 15 nieces and nephews, many great-nieces, great-nephews, three aunts; an uncle; and several cousins. 

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Erma Lee Curtis and Velma Ruth Ealey.
