Bertha (Young) Lemley

May 01, 1916 ~ June 15, 2004

Graveside services will be held, Friday, June 18, 10 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park. There will be a visitation at Bakersfield Family Funeral Dir., on Thurs., June 17, from 4-8 p.m.

Bertha was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma but had been a resident of Kern County for 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Haskell Lemley, her parents Thomas "Buster" and Kathern Young, brothers, Jess and Lawrence Young; and sisters, Lisa McKnight and Berg Hill. She is survived by her son, Herbert Lemley and wife Gloria of Bakersfield; a daughter Barbara Shepherd and husband Gene of Bakersfield; grandchildren, Stephane Hickle and husband James, Mitchell Lemley of Maui, Brad Lemley, Rodney Shepherd, Randy Shepherd and wife Brooke; great grandchildren, Jerrett and Tiffanie Hickle, Candis Randel and Joshua Shepherd and a host of great great grandchildren.
