Private family services will be held for Alton "Troy" Lemley at a later date. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory, Enid.
Troy was born on Aug. 27, 1945, in Mineral Wells, Texas, to Alton Thomas and Ruby Estelle Stockstill Lemley and died on Nov. 10, 2020, in Enid.
Troy graduated from Lovington, N.M., High School. On July 2, 1965, he married Mona Gearhart in Columbus, Kan., and they made their home in Coffeyville, Kan. They later lived in Lovington, N.M., Enid, Drummond and Kingfisher, Okla. Troy worked as a diesel mechanic in the oilfield most of his life. He later worked at Wheeler Brothers in Kingfisher, before retirement.
Troy enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren, Amanda, Christa, Kaitlyn, Jerrod and Haley and great-grandchildren, Bentley, Jaspen, Mason, Addison, Abigail and Emmalynn and bonus grandchildren, Karinda and Jacob, and great-grandchildren, Joeshia and Derreck.
Troy is survived by his two sons and their wives, Junior Lemley and wife Natalie of Drummond, and Stephen Lemley and wife, Kristie of Enid; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two bonus grandchildren and two bonus great-grandchildren; brother and wife, Donnie and Toni Lemley; brother-in-law, Monty Gearhart; sister-in-law, Reva Lemley; other relatives and friends.
Troy was preceded in death by his wife, Mona; son, Mark Lemley; parents; two brothers, Tommy and Terry; sister, Fern.
