Marie LeGrand was born October 28, 1938 in Berlin, Oklahoma to Omega Larabee and Paul Edward Moorhead. She passed away August 19, 2016 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years, 9 months and 21 days.
At an early age Marie moved with her parents to the San Diego, California area where she spent her childhood and attended school. She was married to Adolph Manuel LeGrand, Sr. at San Diego, California on March 23, 1962. They remained in California for a few years before moving to Anchorage, Alaska for two years and then back to the San Diego area. In the early 70's they moved to Elk City, Oklahoma to make their home. Adolph and Marie continued to raise their family in the Elk City community while working for Donko Trucking. Marie cherished raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren and other family and friends. Marie also enjoyed caring for her dog "Little Bit".
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 children, Tommy Estrada, Johnny Estrada and Darrell Whitt; infant great grandson, Darrell Duane Whitt, III and 1 brother, Robert Moorhead.
She is survived by her 2 children, Adolph LeGrand, Jr., Elk City, OK and Angel LeGrand Nance and husband Garry, Elk City, OK; 9 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Eddie Moorhead and Vernon Moorhead and a host of other relatives and friends.
