Dean Dale Lee was born February 6, 1946 in Pampa, Texas to Violet Marie and Oscar D Lee. He passed away January 14, 2014 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years, 11 months and 8 days.
While Dean was still an infant the family moved to Sherman county, Texas. Dean attended school and graduated from Gruver High School, Gruver, Texas in 1964. He attended Abilene Christian University. Instead of being drafted he chose to enlist in the United States Marine Corps and served his country during the Vietnam War. Dean worked in the petroleum industry for a number of years. He later began working for Trigard of Oklahoma and United Supermarket in Elk City before ill health forced his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his father and 1 sister, Margaret Fortner and a nephew, Rusty Washburn.
He is survived by his mother, Violet Lee, daughters, Chanda Lee and Tiffanie Lee, 1 sister, Gail McMillan, all of Abilene, TX; 1 brother, Kenneth Earl Lee and his wife Carol, Irving, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends.
