Linda Lou Ledbetter, resident of Blackwell, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at the Ponca City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 67.

Linda was born the daughter of Melvin Arthur and Louise Francis (Hose) Harvey on August 4, 1941 in Williamsport, Indiana. She grew up in Attica, Indiana and graduated from Sheldon High School in Sheldon, Illinois. She eventually moved to Oklahoma because of her interest in Indian culture. Linda also was very fond of cats.

She is survived by three children, Lisa Nelson of Sycamore, Illinois, Richard Datzman and his wife, Jane of Brownsburg, Indiana and Tracy Datzman of Villa Park, Illinois; one brother, Richard Wayne Harvey; one sister, LaQuita Mae Thompson; six grandchildren, Sarah, Lindsay and John Datzman, Cole, Logan and Morgyn Nelson.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Gary Harvey and Gary Lee Harvey Sr.

A memorial service was held earlier today, Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Grace Memorial Chapel. Reverend Robert Foos of Image Hospice officiated.
