Memorial services for Bobby Laymone Leatherwood were held Wednesday December 19, 2018 at the Bidding Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Chuck Glass and Bro. Ed Baker officiating. Services were entrusted to Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
Bobby Laymone Leatherwood the son of William Dee and Joanna (Miles) Leatherwood was born March 3, 1933 in Adair County and departed this life on December 17, 2018 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years, 9 months and 14 days.
Bob enjoyed life and he loved his family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and just being outdoors with his boys.
Family gatherings were his favorite time because he loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed watching the PBR on TV and westerns. If he couldn't get the PBR then there wasn't much reason to have the TV. Bob touched many lives over the years and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother J.D. Leatherwood; and his sisters Georgia McMurtrey and Wilma Jean Leatherwood.
He is survived by a loving family which includes his wife Patricia Leatherwood of the home; his children Bobbi Gail Rosini and husband Jim of Newark, N.J., David Leatherwood and wife Kristy of Stilwell, Bobby Sanders of South Carolina and Dee Leatherwood and wife Leighann of Stilwell; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
