A Celebration of Life for Robin Courtney Layman, age 41, of Marlow, formerly of Breckinridge, is 10:00 am, Saturday, September 7, 2019 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Covington, Oklahoma with Pastor Kenneth Wade officiating. Visitation for Robin is Friday, September 6, 2018 from 6:00 ~ 7:00 pm at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Robin was born June 28, 1978 in Enid to Richard and Carol (Helling) Layman, and passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 in Oklahoma City.
She attended Garber Public Schools, graduating in May of 1996. In Junior High she played softball and was also active in the band, where she played the saxophone. Later in life she studied Business Administration and earned an Associate's Degree in Business from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma. Robin really enjoyed the outdoors, especially activities at the family pond. She loved taking vacations at various lakes with Chris and her boys. She enjoyed cooking for her family and was known for her great sense of humor and charming smile.
Robin is preceded in death by her mother, Carol Layman; her former husband, Irby Williams; and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
She is survived by her husband, Chris Spence, two sons, Matthew Williams of Duncan, OK; and Ethan Brummett of Marlow, OK; father, Richard Layman, of Midwest City, OK; sister, Rebecca Bee and husband David, of Breckindridge; brother, Ryan Layman of Enid; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to OU Medical Research Foundation or her Children's Education Fund with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
