Wayne E. Lawver
December 14, 1933 ~ July 5, 2018

A Celebration of Life Service for Wayne E. Lawver age 84 of Enid will be 11:00 am Friday July 13, 2018 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Matthew Thoms officiating.

Cremation and services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. 

Wayne was born December 14, 1933 in Enid to Elbe Emory and Bessie Allen Lawver and passed away July 5, 2018. He attended Enid Schools and later received his GED. Wayne joined the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1956. He married Pat Danahy on August 16, 1958 in Enid, OK. 

Wayne worked for the Enid Fire Department for 23 years and retired in 1986. He served on the Enid Board of Commissioners from 1987-1988. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed his bird dogs. Wayne coached his kids and took his girls to Nationals. He enjoyed going to his kids and grandchildren activities. 

He is survived by his wife Pat, children Linda Lawver , Lisa Buller, Lori Bartley and her husband Steve, Mike Lawver, grandchildren; Joseph Capra and wife Jade, Wade Capra, Shane Waggoner, Andrea Cremer and husband Jon, Thomas Buller and wife Laura, Lindsey Crow and husband Nathan, Steven Pollet and wife Tiffany, Scott Bartley, Delaney Bartley, Lauren Lawver, Mason Lawver, and Morgan Lawver, great grandchildren; Jackson, Braxton, Averie, Olivia, Case, Zoe, Ellie, Millie, Emory, and Easton; sister, Donna Skinner and husband Donnie, brother, David Lawver and wife Judy and several other family members. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sister Reta Lawver, son-in-law Phil Buller, and daughter-in-law Jill Lawver. 

Memorials may be made to Youth and Family Services with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
